It's not difficult to put on a long as you have a heat gun or hairdryer, just very time consuming. It looks really good though.
Warning to steamdeck users: This seller is purposely selling Nintendo Switch thumb-grips with steamdeck skins. I paid for the option to get the set of joystick thumb-grips along with the skin, and what I received was a set of thumb-grips for the Nintendo Switch. These grips DO NOT fit the steam deck. I thought, this must be a mistake, so I looked again at the sellers store page. If you search the tab for only thumb grips, you'll see they are all for nintendo switch, not a deck. And yet, when you buy a skin for the steamdeck, they advertise them with matching thumb-grips that they charge extra for. This was not a mistake and is false advertising. I want a refund for the thumb grips please!!
The skin turned out better than I expected! I got the glitter laminate and it's so pretty. The skin came in multiple segments to make putting on easier. I needed to use a hairdryer to clean up the wrinkles on the curves, but that is expected and was super easy. My application isn't perfect, but it's good enough for me. Would definitely buy again!
