The skin has a great texture. Application was easier than I expected. As of the time of this review, they do not have a video tutorial for applying the skin to a Steam Deck on their website, but the tutorials for any of the other devices they support will give you a good idea of how it goes. There are some parts along the "shoulder" of the faceplate that I'm convinced are impossible to get smooth (too much vinyl). If that will bother you, skip this project. All of the pieces were pre-cut and separated easily, with the exception of some of the extremely small vent holes which were easy to punch out with a pen (no cutting required). I chose not to use the skin on any buttons or grips but they supplied enough to cover the entire Steam Deck.
Was kinda hard to curve the rounded edges but it looks great now!

the skin is really nice! I love the material and how it feels in your hbds. however it can be hard in the corners due to creasing - I had to blow dry a lot and even then there are still creases. it took some time to put it on. it isn’t perfect, but it looks really cute and nice anyway. I still recommend the product!
